Filipinos team up in B.League All-Star

All nine Filipino hoopers in the Japanese league will be in action in the upcoming 2022 B.League All-Star in Okinawa.

Eight Filipinos will team up in the Asia All-Stars featuring Kiefer Ravena of Shiga Lakestars, Thirdy Ravena of San-En NeoPhoenix, Bobby Ray Parks of Nagoya Diamond Dolphins, Kobe Oaras of Niigata Albirex BB, Dwight Ramos of Toyama Grouses, Javi Gomez De Liaño of Ibaraki Robots, as well as second division players Juan Gomez de Liano of Earthfriends Tokyo Z, and Kemark Carino of Aomori Wat's.

Completing the Asia All-Stars lineup are Chinese center Wang Weijia of Akita Northern Happinets, Indonesian wing Brandon Jawato of Utsunomiya Brex, Korean sharpshooter Yang Jae-min of  Shinshu Brave Warriors, as well as second division players Lin Chih-wei of Chinese Taipei (Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka), and Liu Jin of China (Nishinomiya Storks).

Calling the shots for Asia All-Stars will be Ryukyu Golden Kings mentor Dai Oketani.

Meanwhile, Matthew Aquino of Shinshu will play for the Rising Stars team.

Also part of the Rising Stars team are Kai Toews of Utsunomiya Brex, Takuma Sato of Chiba Jets, Taiki Osakabe of Alvark Tokyo, Keisuke Masuda and Satoru Maeta of Kawasaki Brave Thunders, Yuto Nohmi of Niigata Albirex BB, Ryogo Sumino of SeaHorses Mikawa, Takumi Saito of Nagoya Diamond Dolphins, Eliet Donley of Osaka Evessa, Ryo Terashima of Hiroshima Dragonflies, and Koh Flippin and Keita Imamura of Ryukyu Golden Kings.

Mentoring the Rising Stars team is Chiba Jets assistant coach Zoran Martic.

The Asia All-Stars and Rising Stars will compete against each other on January 14.

On the other hand, the clash between B.Black vs B.White in B.League All-Star will take place on January 15.
