It’s been more than two years since the pandemic put a halt to many businesses, not just in the country but globally. Without a doubt, a lot of people have lost their jobs or source of income, while others are finding it difficult to make ends meet on a day-to-day basis.

Understanding these circumstances, JC Cares Foundation conducted an outreach program for children and the elderly of different disabilities in Rizal and Marikina City last Saturday, October 16.

"Tulong tayo hangga't kaya natin, at kakayanin natin. Maraming nangangailangan sa panahon ngayon," [We will help as much as we can. We will find ways to extend a helping hand, especially now when many people need our help], says JC President and CEO Jonathan So.

A total of 180 packs of groceries and 170 packs of 5kg rice were given to children and elderly in Cottolengo Filipino in Rizal, La Verna Aged and Dementia Village, and Good Samaritan Nursing Homes in Marikina City.

JC Cares Foundation strongly believes in helping those in need, and it will continue to help as long as it can. JC also believes that when people of good intentions unite, greater things can be achieved. In line with this, JC Cares started a donation drive encouraging others to extend a helping hand as well.

For those who would like to send their in-kind donations, you may send a message through the JC Cares Foundation Facebook page.
