Samantha Panlilio heartbroken after Miss Grand International pageant

Philippine bet Samantha Panlilio expressed her emotions on Instagram after bowing out early in the recent Miss Grand International 2021 pageant on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.

Sam revealed she is heartbroken after failing it to the top 20 finalists of the pageant, which made many Filipino pageant fans shocked.

“Thank you all for the love and support. I am completely heartbroken, but I know that I did my best, and that’s all that matters. I feel nothing but grateful. My heart is warm,” she wrote on Instagram on Sunday.

Panlilio expressed her gratitude towards each member of her team and said, "Words can’t describe how grateful I am for your support and dedication to this journey of ours."

She also thanked the Bb. Pilipinas organization for the opportunity they have given her to represent the country, and her fans, for all the support she received.

"To @bbpilipinasofficial for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime. And last but not the least, to my Samblazers, the Philippines for all the support, mahal ko kayong lahat. See you very soon," she said.

Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien of Thailand took home the Miss Grand International 2021 crown. Followed by Andrea Victoria Aguilera from Ecuador (1st runner-up), Lorena Gonçalves Rodrigues from Brazil (2nd runner-up), Vivianie Diaz Arroyo from Puerto Rico (3rd runner-up), and Jeanè Van Dam from South Africa (4th runner-up).
