Check this out, PH Viber users!

Viber, one of the world's free instant messaging apps, has teamed up with Snap Inc., the tech company behind Snapchat, to bring the new augmented reality (AR) Lenses to its platform.

Viber users in the Philippines can now include camera filters in their messages via Viber Lens.

It has 30 new lenses including fantasy effects, Bitmoji avatars, animal masks, and Viber characters, which will absolutely add so much fun to your chats with family and friends.

So how does it work?

Just launch Viber's camera within your chats, select your chosen filter and take a snap or video clip with it. Easy right?

And it doesn't stop there, because Viber is planning to add at least 20 additional lenses each month.

Some will also allow you to change colors or the stickers to give it your own personal look.

“By implementing this technology, Viber Lens helps empower our user’s creativity in making simple communication more entertaining and vivid. It gives them more freedom on how they relay their thoughts and feelings to whoever they’re talking to, all while having a little fun,” David Tse Rakuten Viber Senior Director for APAC said.

He added, “with this partnership with Snap’s most advanced AR capabilities, we’re excited to usher in a new way of messaging while keeping true to our commitment to high-security standards for all messages, video, and images sent over the app.”

The new Viber Lenses are now available in the Philippines for iOS and Android users. While local lenses are available from Viber version 16.0 and above.
