2 NPA organizers yield in Quezon

On March 12, two members of Pinag-isang Lakas ng mga Magbubukid (PIGLAS)-Quezon under Anakpawis and Sangay ng Partido sa Lokalidad (SPL) of the New People’s Army (NPA) turned themselves into the police at the 405th Maneuver Company (MC) in Barangay Anoling, General Nakar, Quezon.

Brothers Pepito and Estelito Cabangon were recognized as the surrenderers by the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 4-A.

The 405th MC-RMFB 4A, Regional Intelligence Unit 4 A—Provincial Intelligence Team—Quezon, Regional Intelligence Division 4-A, Catanauan Police, 85th Infantry Battalion, and 201st Infantry Brigade all contributed to the Cabangons' surrender.

Upon their surrender, they bought a PIGLAS-Quezon-branded T-shirt, documents with subversive content, and books like "Ang Sining ng Digmaang Bayan," "Pakikipag-usap sa mga Lider ng Rebolusyong Pilipino," and "Mga Sulatin Militar ni Vo Nguyen Giap."
