Another game postponed for the Adelaide 36ers.
The National Basketball League (NBL) announced that the 36ers’ home game against the Tasmania JackJumpers on Sunday has been shelved.
This was after the players from Tasmania returned positive from the COVID-19 test
"The health and safety of the players, coaches, clubs, staff and fans are the League’s number one priority when considering these matters,” the team’s statement read.
“The NBL will continue to follow the advice of governments and health authorities.”
Adelaide has only played five games so far, owning a record of 2-3.
The 36ers last played on Dec. 18 where they bow down against Cairns Taipans, 93-67.
It was also the first time that Filipino import Kai Sotto was in action.
The 7-foot-3 Sotto registered one point, three rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in almost 10 minutes of action.
The 36ers hopes to play at their homecourt against Perth Wildcats on Tuesday, January 18.
