Baby Tamaraw’s basketball star commits to play for FEU
March 19, 2023 - Sunday 5:03 PM by Romeo Braceros Jr

Janrey Pasaol, who has recently crowned the UAAP Boys Basketball Champion and was chosen for the Season 85 Mythical Team, has decided to advance from the Baby Tamaraws to the Seniors Team, continuing his career in green and gold.
The 5-foot-11 guard led FEU-Diliman in their unexpected title run, which included ousting NU-Nazareth School and top-seeded Adamson. He had 15.7 points, 6.7 assists, 4.9 rebounds, and 2.4 steals per game.
Pasaol is the latest in a long line of excellent guards from the school, and he will support longtime Tamaraws playmaker L-Jay Gonzales.
The 18-year-old is the brother Alvin Pasaol, a current Meralco Bolts player who once scored 49 points for UE in a UAAP contest.
FEU is trying to get back into the playoff picture after having its eight-year streak of reaching the Final Four broken last year.
Its new quarterback is school icon Denok Miranda, though the Tamaraws will still rely on Gonzales and up-and-comers Patrick Sleat and Bryan Sajonia.
