Classes in all public schools in Balanga, Bataan, will be suspended for two weeks from January 16 to 28 to mitigate positive COVID-19 cases.
This, after Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Officer-in-Charge Roland Fronda signed the division memorandum suspending classes in public schools.
In a Facebook post, Governor Albert Garcia confirmed that submissions of requirements, tests, distribution of Universal Serial Bus on the Go (USB–OTG) at Service Level Management (SLM), and other school-related activities would be halted.
A 60% skeletal workforce will also be implemented for non-teaching employees while teachers are encouraged to stay home.
