Moore is facing a string of charges related to child molestation before McKinney, Texas court.
The Bureau of Immigration on Friday announced that its agents arrested an American national wanted in his home country for child molestation.
In a statement, Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente identified the American pedophile as Bradley John Moore.
BI Fugitive Search Unity agents arrested him in Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte on May 12.
The bureau said the agents were armed with a mission order from Morente after he received information of Moore’s crimes from the US authorities in Manila.
“We will send him back to the US immediately for him to face his crimes, after which he will be placed in our blacklist and banned from re-entering our country,” Morente added.
BI-FSU acting chief Rendel Ryan Sy said Moore arrived in Manila on Dec. 6, 2020, thus an overstaying alien. His passport has also been revoked by the US government, making him an undocumented alien.
Sy added that Moore is to stand trial before a McKinney, Texas court that issued warrants of arrest for charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, three counts of indecency, and sexual contact with a child.
“Moore is temporarily detained at the Dapitan City police station prior to his eventual transfer to the BI warden facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City where he will remain while undergoing deportation proceedings,” he added.
