President Rodrigo Duterte claimed that he received information about specific presidential candidates for the 2022 elections.

He warned that he would personally name the candidates at the right time.

“In due time… I will personally name the candidates and maybe what’s wrong with them na kailangang malaman ng tao because you elect the president. Sino yung pinaka-corrupt na kandidato” he said.

Duterte clarified that he is not politicking, ang he is going to do this as the president of the country who receives information from everybody.

"Kailangan may malaman kayo na alam ko na di niyo alam. Alam ko. Why? Because I am the President, I get information from everybody, and also personal experience, observation," Duterte added.

The president also revealed a candidate who is "too corrupt" based on the information he received from Chinese businessmen.

He added that an aspirant acts like a drunkard and keeps getting into fights.

“Nakita ko lang. Hindi ako nagsabi na marunong ako. From observation, parang taong nakainom. Malaman mo, medya sumobra siya sa limit ng botelya na kaya nya. Tapos mag-away, tapos magtapang magsalita, masakit. Akala niya may utang ang tao sa kanya, ganun yan eh,” He said.

Duterte also mentioned that there is another candidate who doesn't know the "fundamentals" of the presidency.

“Nakita ko lang. Hindi ako nagsabi na marunong ako. From observation, parang taong nakainom. Malaman mo, medya sumobra siya sa limit ng botelya na kaya nya. Tapos mag-away, tapos magtapang magsalita, masakit. Akala niya may utang ang tao sa kanya, ganun yan eh,” Duterte said.

The president reiterated that he can't sit idly in a situation where every presidential bet running for the 2022 elections have their own issues, except maybe for one.
