The Los Angeles Police district named Kanye West as a suspect in a battery police report which happened Thursday morning, U.S. time.

"The incident occurred around 3 am in downtown LA near the intersections of Bay and Santa Fe street. No arrests have been made but he was named as a suspect in the case," the report read.

Reports say that the rapper got involved in an argument when things got heated up and turned physical. What's even worse was it was between him and a fan.

LAPD said that Kanye "pushed and then punched a male fan." It is now being investigated as a misdemeanor battery. He may face a jail sentence of 6 months.

A video of the aftermath was secured by TMZ. In the video, the victim was already lying on the ground. Kanye is shown loudly screaming “get away from me” at a woman who says, “I am your family.” The woman claims she is Kanye's cousin. The video ends with Ye walking away from the scene.

Another footage showed Kanye was angrily yelling at two women next to a white car. “Did y’all say that or not? Did y’all say that or not? Cuz that’s what happened right f***ing now."

Earlier that evening, the rapper was seen partying at Delilah nightclub in West Hollywood with his latest fling Julia Fox.

Julia Fox meanwhile once modeled for Kim Kardashian's clothing brand, Skims. Sources say that Kim has no issues with Kanye dating especially with someone who is a fan of the Kardashians. Julia Fox once raved about the Kardashians calling herself a "die-hard" fan.

Meanwhile, Kim was recently seen on vacation in the Bahamas with her boyfriend Pete Davidson.
