
Man busted for guns, and ammo in Taguig

On March 10, firearms and ammunition were discovered during a police search of a Taguig residence, leading to the arrest of a 55-year-old man.
Personnel from Taguig Police Substation 6 executed a search warrant issued by Judge Byron San Pedro of Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 15-FC at a residence on Mangustan Street in Barangay Katuparan.
Police identified the person arrested as Ronnie Gonzalez.
The police seized from the suspect one M3.45-caliber sub-machine gun made in the US, an M16A1 rifle.45-caliber pistol, one SAM Caliber 45 ACP pistol, two.45-caliber sub-machine gun magazines, four.45-caliber magazines, one.45-caliber magazine, one suppressor, 500 rounds of 5.56-mm ammunition, 44 rounds of.45-caliber ammunition, four rounds of.38-caliber ammunition and an ammo box.
Police in Taguig is holding the suspect, who will face charges of illegally possessing a firearm and ammunition or violating Republic Act 10591.
