Matt Ganuelas-Rosser has reunited with the TNT franchise
The team announced the signing of Ganuelas-Rosser on Friday, who was an unrestricted free agent.
He rejected a two-year extension deal from mother team Terrafirma Dyip.
We’d like to welcome Matt back to the team,” said Tropang Giga head coach Chot Reyes “Now it’s time to go to work.”
Rosser, who was selected No. 4 overall by NLEX in the 2014 PBA Draft, was eventually traded to TNT a month before the season began.
The 31-year old won his first title with TNT as a rookie during the 2015 Commissioner’s Cup.
After three seasons, the Filipino-American was traded to SMB in 2017 where he would four more championships with the franchise.
Ganuelas-Rosser would be part of a blockbuster trade where Beermen send him, Russel Escoto, Gelo Alolino, and two draft picks to Terrafirma in exchange for CJ Perez.
He averaged 5.0 points, 2.00 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in the Governors’ Cup.
Ganuelas-Rosser joins two fellow 2014 draftees Rodney Brondial and John Pinto who changed teams in the middle of the postponed conference.
Brondial rejected an offer from Alaska to join with San Miguel, while Pinto bid adieu to Meralco to suit up for Ginebra.
