Over P89M worth of shabu seized in Las Piñas City

Police officers seized over P89 million of "shabu," or crystal meth, during an anti-illegal drug operation conducted in Las Piñas City. 

The authorities identified the 25-year-old female suspect as Jolle Ann Cuer y Trimonia.

The police were able to confiscate 13,175 grams of a white crystalline substance suspected to be methamphetamine, four self-sealing foil pouches of snacks, and 44 self-sealing foil pouches, as well as a cellular phone. 

The seized evidence was immediately turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Laboratory Service for qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Police Major General Jonnel Estomo commends the successful operation and warns other drug suspects that the campaign against illegal drugs will continue.

"Tuloy tuloy po tayo sa ating kampanya laban sa iligal na droga. Kami po ay nakikiusap sa lahat ng mga involve sa iligal na droga, tigilan na po natin ito dahil hindi po kayo makakatakas sa batas (Let us continue our anti-illegal drug campaign. We implore all those involved in illegal drugs to stop because you cannot avoid the law)," said Estomo.
