P2.5M worth of marijuana, shabu seized in Kalinga, Masbate operations

Police seized some P2.5 million worth of marijuana and shabu in a raid on plantation sites in Kalinga and a buy-bust in Masbate. 
 
In a statement, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said the first operation was in Sitio Nabuluan, Brgy Lacnog, Tabuk City, where more than 11,000 fully-gown marijunana plants were discovered on Friday, May 13. 
 
"These were planted on two sites covering around 600 square meters in Sitio Nabuluan, Brgy Lacnog, Tabuk City, Kalinga. No cultivator was arrested during the operation," the statement read. 
 
The marijuana plants, worth P2.2 million, were uprooted and burned on site. 
 
In Masbate, suspect Saridon Jazul was arrested after he yielded some P300,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust in Barangay Talabaan in Aroroy town.
