August 19, 2022 - Friday 2:08 PM by GDMNCRPO
Four suspects were caught with methamphetamine hydrochloride or locally known as shabu worth P748,000 during a recent drug sting in Valenzuela City.
The city police launched a buy-bust operation against suspects Morris Bacod, 18; Geoffrey Cardinez Jr., 19; Enrico Rosales Jr., 24; and Erwin Manuel, 34.
The group sold shabu worth P32,000 during a staged drug deal inside the public market of Barangay Gen. T. de Leon at midnight on Thursday, August 18.
The drug transaction became positive, resulting in their arrest.
Recovered from the suspects were four knot-tied packs and two other sachets of shabu, as well as the boodle money, P850 cash, three cellphones, and a belt bag.
Police declared the illegal drug was estimated to have a weight of 110 grams.
The drug deal apparently made a fuss among those in the market, until the information reached the city police through their tipster, according to earlier reports.
The four suspects would be charged with drug-related complaints, as well as disobedience to an agent of a person in authority.
