Following its premiere in Los Angeles, the iWanTFC series “Sleep With Me” is getting another international recognition in New York City.

This October, the award-winning six-part series will have its queer fest screening at the 34th NewFest.

The annual New York LGBTQ+ Film Festival is said to be the largest queer film presenter in the city. NewFest quoted a tweet from the Sleep With Me director, Samantha Lee, saying, “so happy to have you back.”

Sleep With Me previously bagged the  Best Episodic Audience Award at the 40th Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ+ Film Festival.

Starring Lovi Poe and Janine Gutierrez, the series follows two new couples navigating their newfound love, all while dealing with their disabilities.

The official logline reads: "Harry, an overnight radio DJ who is in a wheelchair, and her crush, Luna, who suffers from a sleeping condition, navigate their respective disorders and issues from past relationships as they start their romance."
