On Thursday, March 16, a toddler in Barangay Granada, Bacolod City, drowned inside his family's home.

At the family's request, the police concealed the victim's name, a three-year-old male.

According to Capt. Francis Depasucat, commander of Police Station 5, the kid was left with his father that day while his mother went to work.

But his father, who was worn out from work, dozed off.

He was no longer next to him when his father opened his eyes.

According to Depasucat, the father looked everywhere for his son until he discovered him in a pail in their comfort room.

The infant was brought to a hospital, according to Depasucat, but was pronounced dead when he got there.
