Brace yourselves, the upcoming Batman movie, which stars Robert Pattinson, will run for nearly three hours. That is two hours and 55 minutes, to be exact.

This is the longest Batman movie of all time and the longest superhero movie just behind Avenger's Endgame, which ran for 3 hours and 1 minute.

Several recent films have been running for longer than the average movie hours of two hours and 30 minutes. For example, No Time To Die was 2:43, while Eternals was 2:36. The longest Batman movie before was The Dark Knight Rises (2:44).

According to Warner Brothers, The Batman is an edgy, action-packed thriller that depicts Batman in his early years, struggling to balance rage with righteousness as he investigates a disturbing mystery that has terrorized Gotham. Robert Pattinson delivers a raw, intense portrayal of Batman as a disillusioned, desperate vigilante awakened by the realization that the anger consuming him makes him no better than the ruthless serial killer he's hunting.

The Batman, directed by Matt Reeves, will hit Philippine theatres on March 2.
