The Chicago Bulls and twice All-Star Zach LaVine on Friday agreed to a $215 million max contract extension, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported.
LaVine will earn approximately $43M per year on his new deal.
The two-time All-Star emerged as one of the NBA's best scorers while leading the Bulls to its first playoff appearance in 2017.
LaVine averaged 24.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game in 67 games last season despite battling a knee injury.
The Bulls lost in the first round of the playoffs against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Still, it was a successful season in Chicago with LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic leading the way.
